But what if that system isn&#8217;t just limiting the stylist&#8217;s creativity, but also the client&#8217;s results?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/camilla.rorstrand\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">I\u2019ve<\/a> worked for over 35 years as a hairstylist, educator, color technician, and product developer. And what I\u2019ve seen is this: even the most passionate professionals can feel boxed in when their education is tied to a single brand. That\u2019s why I created *Become A Better Colorist* \u2013 a completely product-neutral education system focused on understanding hair, color chemistry, and real-life results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, we only get the truth that our suppliers choose to give us. But we know it\u2019s a challenge in our industry today. Why? Because every brand says something different. Take gray coverage, for example: some companies tell you to use 20 vol, others 10 vol. Both can be right \u2013 or completely wrong \u2013 depending on the starting point and the color formula. This creates confusion for stylists and makes switching brands difficult because most have only learned a system, not color itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the end, it\u2019s not about having the perfect color brand. It behaves differently because of the formula, the developer, the hair history, and how it&#8217;s applied.
